Public Participation event for NHS Nene and Corby CCGs

Posted on 27th June 2017

The CCGs wanted to gain people’s views on present and future health services to input into the county’s Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP) so that the right care can be delivered in the right place at the right time.

Healthwatch Northamptonshire developed two workshops with the NHS Nene and Corby CCGs’ Patient’s Congress where after presentations by county patient activation and self-care look like in 2020/21, what are the deficits and barriers to achievement, and how can the STP’s aims be achieved.

The valuable outputs from these events fed into the sustainability and transformation planning process through a work stream under the joint responsibility of Public Health Northamptonshire and Voluntary Impact Northamptonshire.
